Alcohol Based Hanitizer vs COVID 19

I will tell you right now that when it comes our current plague of Corona Virus, YOU are MUCH better off using alcohol-based hand sanitizer than washing your hands:

1. Alcohol-Based hand sanitizer kills the Corona Virus.
2. Your crappy hand washing technique, where you don't even get all the soap off, and then touch the same handle you used to turn on the water in the first place when you are done washing, that crap hand washing, in a public restroom, will actually make you more at risk for catching the corona virus than not washing your hands at all.
3. Non-alcohol based hand sanitizer is a joke.
4. If you insist on washing your hands, here's what you must do:
1. Make sure a paper towel is read for you to grab, but also that no human hands have yet touched that paper towel.
2. Turn on very-warm or hot water (but not so hot as to be injurious.)
3. With hand soap lather up your hands.
4. Now after your hands are lathered, scrub your hands vigorously for at least 30 seconds, getting the backs of your hands, tips of your fingers and between your fingers, as well as the rest of your hand.
5. After the 30+ seconds of scrubbing is complete, rinse your hands thoroughly.
6. Do NOT turn off the water.
7. Grab that paper towel and use it to turn off the water, but only after you dry your hands with it. Make sure you don't touch the part of the paper towel that touches the handle.
5. Pro Tip: none of your friends, families or coworkers are disciplined enough to do 1-7 above consistently.
